I [40M] on an impulse engaged in penetrative anal sex with a pre-op trans woman colleague of mine. She has had more sexual partners than me but she suggested that she always uses protection. I on the other hand, am sexually active with only my gf.
I and my colleague are on a trip & one thing led to another and we engaged in sex. We had unprotected bjs. When it came to penetrative sex, I didn’t insert her rather she did while wearing a condom. She didn’t ejaculate inside me & the condom was intact after she removed it.
I haven’t gotten myself tested earlier due to monogamous relationship I and my gf share. However I’m considering getting tested for STDs. I asked my colleague to get tested but she has been cagey about this.
So I wanted to ask:
1. How sooner or later I should get tested?
2. Symptoms if any to watch out for
3. I had pain yesterday night in my anus but after I slept it went away. However a sharp pain arose while pooping & the pain went away just after that. Should I be concerned? I didn’t notice any blood
4. Do testing centers flag someone who gets tested positive ?

You should be tested between partner’s as a habit.
Those other questions can be answered by your doctor.
Is your relationship open ?
My experience getting tested is just telling them you want to test peeing in a cup and getting some blood.
