I had a crush on one of my juniors in my college. So three days before i tried talking to her but she was on rush and i could only talk to her for few seconds before she left. And the next day when i saw her from a distance i smiled at her expecting a smile back but she didnt mind me ,I am not sure if she noticed me or not but since then i have been very sad. So what should i conclude from this . Should i try approaching her one more time?

Definitely try again. Those both just sound like bad timing. People very often tell me I ignored their wave not realizing my eyes are terrible so if I don’t have my glasses on (which I hardly ever do) I can’t see much.
Could be something similar with the distant smile.
I’d give it one more solid try but If she seems “in a rush” when you try to talk to her again, then take the hint that she is trying to get away from you.
