I initiated the break up to focus on my mental heath among other things. Our relationship had its problems like most others. He recently pops up out of no where with a guilting message i rebut because it made no sense. I guess it was his opener. He tells me he misses me and wants to get back together. I’m firm in my reasons why thats not good for me. I’ve told him he always has a friend in me, which he agreed saying we can go on dates, text each other and etc. before that last excerpt he sends me pictures asking which looks best, I’m guessing for a dating profile. Is he trying to get me back or make me jealous?

Find someone closer to your own age
Hi… Just remember that the reasons behind your break up are not going into change.. By ‘dating as friends’ you will only prolong the agony and give your ex false hope of a reconciliation … Best for all concerned to remain amicable and make a clean break.

Clean break. At this point you should be together or not at all. It will make it easier to move on if that’s what you both want. And if you don’t want to move on a clean break will make you both think about what you want for yourselves.
