Just got back from the yearly trip to see the Nutcracker ballet. It’s a tradition for me and my partner, that we have had for some time now. At the interval, an old lady behind me, got up and asked me if there was a problem with my head, and then said because I kept moving it during the performance (I do crack my neck every couple of minutes, and do like to have a good look around). I just thought this was very odd for her to actually ask, and am wondering if there is actual etiquette for moving your head in the theatre??
