I recently hung out with someone but I don’t know if they want to see me again.

I recently went out with someone, I thought we had a good time and it ended with them telling me what time they work so I can visit them. I unfortunately am unable to visit them at those times because of my schedule but I told them that I would hit them up to meet up again. So I do but they have been busy these past few weeks. We are both in college and finals are happening so I think it makes sense , I just have this thought in my head though that maybe they don’t really want to hang out again. We don’t text, and when we do it’s short and right to the point, but it takes quite of but of time for each of us to respond to one another. On my part, it’s because I am super busy and preoccupied, but I try to respond when I can. So last week Monday they told me they don’t know if they would be busy last Friday(12/1/22). I told them to keep me updated on it, I thought they weren’t going to hit me up and give me an update, this thought kept coming into my head. Then they do hit me up and tell me that they can’t do last Friday, but this week Friday they should be free. I said that’s great let’s talk about it another time(I was busy at the time). Now tomorrow is Thursday, should I hit them up and ask if they are still free for Friday. I ask because in my head, I feel like they don’t really want to hang out or they aren’t intrested. Am I wrong to think this? What do you guys think I should do?
