Try a Californian sub.
But your shower comment is unclear. Please don’t pollute the hot springs with soap and stuff. If your goal is to get clean, use a truck stop paid shower.
Please don’t bathe with soap in any of the natural bodies of water.
Especially not an enclosed hot spring.
Putting soap and shampoo into clean natural bodies of water is a no no. That is pollution.
You may feel like your one time doing it is ok but California is a really popular place for natural beauty and if everyone did that it would ruin bodies of water and damage the ecosystem.
If you need a shower find a truck stop or spend one night at a cheap motel.
This is unhinged. Don’t pollute springs with your fucking oils and soaps. America is full of ways to maintain a standard of health and hygiene and your first thought is to fuck up nature.
The only ones I can think of are between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Bring extra water and have four wheel drive if possible. Don’t go in the summer.
I think this is maybe lost in cultural translation; Americans don’t have the onsen/sauna/jjimjilbang/hammam/etc culture that other countries do, and bathing in public is pretty uncommon here.

I can’t believe it has to be said, but don’t shower in the hot springs.
Please do not pollute natural bodies of water with soaps and oils.
