So, I’ve been texting with this guy like for 3 months and we only went to 3 dates but he kept texting everyday and didn’t ask me out again.

I asked him directly if he lost interest on me, and he told me he wants to be just friends, and after that he started texting only twice per week. We talk a lot about our work and future. And I decided to tell him that I was praying to find my future husband, so he told me you would find him on the right time and then I replied to his last message, and after 3 days he has left me on delivered, not even on seen.

Did he get angry that I told him that I was praying about that? Didn’t he say he wanted to be just friends? I’m confused.

I still like him but because he said he just want to be friends, I’m trying to show him I don’t have feelings for him anymore just to protect myself.

  1. It’s a lil intimate and potentially awkward thing to tell someone who just broke things off and with you. If he’s ghosting you, you’re not friends like that

  2. He’s not really ghosting you. You both want different things. Sometimes people do remain friends, but honestly it’s rare…. it’s something people say when they don’t want hard feelings and want to end things on good terms…. they’ll say hello with a smile if they run into you at the grocery store. But telling him you’re praying for a husband, while true, is a very awkward convo, especially with a man who you’ve dated and just recently ended things with. It’s a loaded minefield of a convo for him.

  3. Eh most of the time a “I Just want to be freinds” is a nice way of letting you down and dont actually turn into being friends.
