Prime rib, potatoes, and whatever sides everyone brings: Mac n cheese, asparagus, wine, Christmas salad, bourbon, fried shrimp, beer, etc.
Braised short ribs.
We’re having dry rubbed roasted duck, baked yams, garlic mashed potatoes, twice baked potatoes, mole poblano over rice, apple tarts and watermelon rind pie.
tamales. my family isn’t huge on Christmas and we’re not Latino but it’s always a good time for tamales. (as long as you don’t have to make them yourself, which I didn’t.)
Smoked brisket tamales, pozole, charro beans, and a bunch of snacks that my sister makes. My friend made us some Derby pies and added some bourbon to it so I’m really looking forward to that. And probably a lot of booze. I love Christmas!
