I’m an attractive M (24), and recently any new conversation I have online tends to end with me being left on seen or not getting a reply. I do fine with real life conversations but I feel like once this started happening I started analyzing how to text properly and that just made things worse cause I think the way I talk became more mechanical. Any advise?

  1. Jfc we cant leave him on read on reddit too. Lol. Not enough context to help in any meaningful way tho.

Just keep focusing on self improvement and loving yourself. If you become someone you enjoy being around, other likeminded folk will enjoy your company.

  2. This happens when you are idle in life and make other people the only thing going on in your life. You need to understand excessively worrying about others unconsciously trains you to become needy, clingy, desperate, and codependent. This will result in other people actually being annoyed and avoiding you as well. Nobody wants to keep validating and reassuring you every other time. Start focusing on other things in life, whether it be your hobbies and goals. Start doing things and achieving things in life. Be respectable. Chase excellence, not validation.

Also read this, it describes how you come off to people when you are constantly anxious and overthinking things like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/socialskills/comments/we54zy/big_tip_to_reduce_your_social_anxiety_and_why/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

  3. This could generally be due a lack of investment and interest from their side. If you’re overthinking your texts, they will most definitely come across as too thought out, and will lack your personality, expression to come through.
