It’s been awhile since I broke up with my ex and I haven’t been inlove ever since. I’ve already moved on from my ex.
I’ve been dating/seeing people but I only like them. I easily get an ICK and leave too.

I just wanna ask how long did it take you to fall inlove again?

  1. There are no equal time periods for everyone. Someone is ready to dive into a new long-term relationship after a year, and for someone, even three years is not enough to survive a breakup and move on.
    It probably depends on the age and how the new partner behaves. If you constantly compare the relationship with the relationship with the ex, then new love will take longer.
    I think you will feel when it is time to fall in love and start a new love adventure called a serious healthy relationship.

  2. Everyone is different and there’s no real timeline as to when to fall in love again. I’ve been single now for 7 months out of a short-term relationship. It’s been a while since my ex broke up with me and he probably was in a new relationship now. I’m on and off the apps the past months now and I’m still processing the breakup up until now. Some people can jump on the dating scene right after a breakup and fall in love again and some take their time to heal and process the breakup.

  4. I got my heart broken by my first love in may 2021. I loved the shit out of him. I feel that I got over it in august 2022, and fell in love with my best friend in november 2022. so from the breakup it took me 18 months to fall in love with someone else. from the time that I got over the breakup, it took me about 3 and a half months (3 and a half because I remember the day I knew i loved him).

    I still have doubts and am nervous to open up to him. he doesn’t know how I feel but i have a gut feeling that he reciprocates my feelings based on his actions. I get very uncomfortable when I feel vulnerable with him but I’m learning to overcome it. you said that you get an ick. I understand what you mean, I got that with my friend at first, too. But before you know it, somebody will come along that will make all of that bullshit melt away 💙
