I hear all about the sex towels and how it’s easier to clean up but personally we have never done it. Does it make clean up that much easier? Usually keep baby wipes close by for a clean up though.

  1. From my experience it is not about personal cleanup but more so about catching most of the wetness before it soaks the bed. Think about it as putting down a beach towel so someone doesnt have to sleep in the wet patch.

  2. Hell, my SO is a squirter. We have special blankets we put down and fuck on or the bed would be RUINED.

  3. I used one last night because I had an extra long solo session with myself and I squirted like a mad woman 😂

  4. Old fwb was a squirter and had a water proof blanket shed put down everytime we hung out. Like it wasn’t a fountain, but enough to be noticeable, and happened every time she came(3-4 times during one of our regular hook ups). Def saved her from washing alot of sheets.

Outside of that I’ve never had a partner where I felt it would be useful.

Edit: oh if you are into period sex it’s probably a good idea.

  5. If she is menstruating, yeah, there’s no real choice.

Regular days, nah, not really worth it.

  6. Depends on the session. But we have a liberator blanket we got at a killer price from a local store that was closing. Super soft, absorbent and water proof on one side. Makes clean up a breeze. Well worth it IMO

  7. I squirt and the sheets get soaked, but it depends how much thought goes into having sex. If it’s passion of the moment we forget the towel and deal with wet sheets and if we remember the towel we don’t. If I didn’t squirt so much we wouldn’t need a towel though

  8. We generally use a water proof sheet, we have several, they feel like a thick sheet on top so no plastic feel. & can be slept on just in like a regular sheet so we keep them on the bed most of the time. Of course there are those times when we don’t have 1 on the bed & don’t take the time to put 1 down.

  9. I have a whole system lol.

I have a huge stack of face washers which we use for wiping hands after lube or our genitals after sex or setting used toys on after use.

I have bath towels just for messier sex or fisting practice, which I fold over for a double layer and also use them to cover our sex wedges.

I also have a stack of old fashioned nappy towels which are a good size for regular sex or cleaning off hands when we are practising fisting or using the large toys etc.

We don’t always use towels though, just most the time. Also they are located on an open shelf very close to the bed so it isn’t too much hassle to bust them out as needed.

  10. We don’t put towels down but we do have a sex blanket. It’s by Liberator and it’s a liquid proof velvety machine washable blanket. We usually don’t make too much of a mess but it’s just nice in cas3 there is one

  11. Sometimes, but after an extra steamy session I had recently, I will always put something down. I personally don’t like laying in wet spots.

  12. We have to use one because I’m a squirter and he could be considered one too 😂

  13. I have really expensive bedsheets and use a lot of anal lube. I only just started using the towel but had to figure it out the hard way 🫣

  14. I got a waterproof blanket on Amazon because I have ruined a mattress from too much squirting. It is worth the protection to me.

  15. Yes, but not for sex. Most of the time it’s for cam/masturbating on the computer.

One to cover the entire chair, one small one to sit on to capture any liquids plus provide extra comfort.

  16. We always use one. Dripping vaginal wetness, squirting, cum and/or lube can (and mostly always will) get everywhere and having the towel as an extra barrier is a lot easier than it going all over our sheets and then having to strip the bed.

  17. I had one gf that we had to put down towels and use a waterproof mattress cover if we were going to have a marathon session. Anything more than a quickie caused a bedding change.

  18. Depends what you’re doing and when. Regular stuff, maybe not. Squirting, menstruation, anal: I’ve definitely put a towel down for those reasons. We’re not doing laundry at 10 at night because we got frisky before bed. The towel can wait.

  19. Im a squirter. Sometimes a little. Sometimes ALOT 💦 ☔️
Solo play ill always lay a towel or 2.
With my partner it’s never a thought. A quick sheet change after play works for us.
But I have 2 mattress protectors on my bed. One heavy duty one that hugs the mattress. And the top one that is double walled and stuffed (microfiber soft on top so there’s no cringle)

  20. Got a waterproof sex blanket that I put down as I don’t want any liquids soaking into my expensive foam mattress.

  21. If she’s a squirter or on her period and wants one then yes, otherwise no.

Keep a towel handy for the dismount to clean yourselves off with and save the sheete but doing it on a towel can be rather uncomfortable.

  22. Always have too with my girl, she squirts EVERY TIME so we’ve actually invested in puppy pads and bed has been saved multiple times

  23. Lots of us/people in committed relationships who know each other well/people who know they need it.

  24. We invested in an absorbent and easy to wash sex blanket. When I know my guy is coming over, I put it down ahead of time so it’s ready. If we’re suddenly getting it on like on the couch or something without planning ahead, we grab a throw blanket and just wash it after. Washing all the sheets or the cushion covers is a real pain in the ass. It’s half a second of unsexy preplanning but it’s never actually interrupted our groove

  25. Got a waterproof blanket on Amazon. Spread it out on the bed and no matter how frisky we get, it’s covered and don’t have to sleep in the wet spot.

  26. Incontinence pads are the best thing ever. They’re waterproof, machine washable and soft enough to sleep on. You can get them big enough that you could almost leave them on the bed full time. After a romp, go to sleep and toss into the wash in the morning. Easy peasy.

  27. Look for a bath sheet, not towel. They cover about 1/2 of a queen size mattress, across. Have never had any problems with moving, shifting, or trying different positions. The extra surface area is also nice if one spot gets too wet.

  28. My wife and I would use our “sex blanket” and wash it once a week. It was just a cheap comforter that was not being used, so it became useful for keeping the rest of the bed clean. It was fun to strategically place the blanket at different spots in the house from time to time, giving each other the hint. I would often find my wife in the room with the blanket already laid out with her waiting for me on it. Eventually we downgraded to just using a towel these days.
