What does wearing a skirt feel like?

  1. A lot more comfortable than trousers. Never wore them much til I was in my 30s but now I wear one daily. Always wear leggings under though, I have a medical thing lol.

  2. This is very easy to find out for yourself. Try on a few in different styles and see how you feel in them. Everyone is different, so how they feel in skirts or in skirts of different styles is very individual.

For me, it feels normal. I like dresses and skirts, so I wear them fairly regularly.

  3. If it’s a short skirt — horrible. You feel like your ass is showing all the time. If it’s a longer skirt it feels really comfortable and it’s far better than pants.

  4. I get anxious in skirts. I had a Marilyn Monroe moment when I was young; and I’ve ALWAYS worn shorts or leggings underneath ever since.

  5. Like you’re barely wearing anything, most of them are very comfortable.

The downside is that if they’re on the shorter side you need to stay alert about whether your underwear might be exposed (e.g. if it gets windy), and if they’re on the longer side they get in the way when going up/down stairs or running, etc. Some skirts can be restrictive as well, like tight pencil skirts which imo are less comfortable than trousers.

A skirt above the knee + opaque leggings may be the most comfortable outfit ever though.

  6. It’s not like you have to do a gender reassignment surgery to know it dude. Don’t even have a buy a skirt. Borrow it from someone at wear it.

  7. Depends on the skirt! Some look amazing but can be cumbersome to wear. Going to the loo it’s always a decision to pull up or slide down.
Some look amazing but are difficult to sit in.
It’s all about finding what you like!

  8. Depends on the day and what needs to be done. I like the feeling of a good breeze blowing through my skirt, feels like freedom. But then it can also be difficult to move around in due to limitations and restrictions of a dress.

  9. Hate them. I strangely enough feel more restricted in them as opposed to trousers. If I wear a long one I worry of falling over, if it’s short I worry my butt is gonna be on show to everyone 🙃

  10. *sssshhhh sssshhhh*

It feels very much like that. Of course, I wear quite long and heavy skirts out of personal preference, so shorter, lighter, or more rigid skirts might have a less obvious *sssshhhh* to them.

For me, that is one of the best feelings ever.

  11. It’s really nice, it flows like a princess! And in summer it’s refreshing.

  12. I hate them, personally. Chub rub hurts like hell! I always feel sweaty and swampy in a skirt unless I wear pants/leggings/shorts underneath, which means that I also have to wear a slip or petticoat to prevent the skirt from sticking to my legs. Loose, flowy skirts make my hips look even wider than they already are, and pencil skirts never seem to fit right. I own maybe two skirts (both knee-length pleated wool skirts) that fit perfectly, look flattering and are comfortable to wear.

  13. Cool and nice in the summer because my legs are naked, warm and cozy in the winter because I wear fleece leggings. Skirts beat jeans any time!

  14. Love them. Feel like my legs are juicy. I love long skirts and short skirts, I’m working out my legs why shouldn’t I show them off? Feels like I can just glide along.

  15. very self conscious depending on what type of skirt it is but it’s very cute

  16. In summer it’s great! Way more fresh and airy & avoids chafing&irritation in the vulva because of seams and heat.
