So my friend’s cousin asked me to get dinner on Saturday. Basically we both were complaining about being single and how it is tough to meet someone the other day while drinking at my friend’s birthday party. He suggested we go out together and I agreed.

Later that day as I sobered up I was mad at myself. He is a nice person but I am not attracted to him. And I don’t want to ruin my friendship if things don’t work out (which, if I’m already not that interested probably doesn’t bode well?).

So, do I cancel dinner now or just go and see if my opinion changes in a different environment? I’m dreading it. Again, super nice person but I don’t think I’m feeling it and would rather cancel before I have to reject him (or he rejects me….who knows, maybe he is feeling the same way!).

What would you do?
