I met a woman in a board game group that I attend with some friends.
Should I go and ask her out ASAP or take my time (like a month or 2)? She’s a regular at the events and I’m a semi regular . At first, she was cold towards me but later started to smile at me more often and was disappointed that I had to leave early.

I wouldn’t wait a month or two. Maybe just be casual about it when you see her. “Would you like to grab a drink/coffee sometime, just us two, maybe?” The worst she’ll say is no and that she’s happy being friends. But you can just move past it and say “sure, I understand. No problem.” And move the conversation on to something else if that happens.
It can be hard to predict if people are interested or not sometimes, so don’t be afraid to take a shot. Good luck with whatever you do. 🙂
