Was it rude of me to do this?

So the other day as I walk away from my lecture for a break to go use the bathroom, i See this girl who I’m acquittances with we aren’t really close but we have spoken to each other a few times in lecture. SO i see this girl talking to someone else and as i walk towards them i pass from the back. She didnt give me eye contact really and it was an empty corridor, should i have stopped to interrupt the convo and say hi or carry on walking like i did and literally not acknowledge that she was there? also we did speak but this was like a whole 2 semesters back so I thought it was pointless, was it rude of me? especially if they really did try to be friend me back then
