It’s going to be awkward, at least every first date ive ever been on has felt that way….maybe its just because im awkward. Just ask her plenty of questions about herself, but don’t try and make it into an interview (like ask folow up questions, not constantly changing the topic)
I think it is great to just go in and have a fun conversation. Try not to make it feel like an interview. Keep it short, and if it is going well, ask her to go for a walk or something else in a public place. This way it won’t feel like a face to face interview thing. Often having something to do is important so that it takes the tension off. Just my thoughts. Thanks!
Rather than worrying about it being awkward for her, try to focus on whether *you* are actually having a good time in *her* presence. Be yourself, by which I mean don’t adjust your behaviour to accommodate the possibility she may feel awkward. Take a deep breath, be authentic, and focus more on how you feel about her, rather than what she might feel about you.
