I’ve been with the same guy for five years, he’s cheated, called me names, and recently he’s gotten a lot worse to the point of violence. Someone else asked me out, should I go?

  1. Hey. Internet mom here. Please listen. You need to get away from the guy who has gotten violent. Do it safely. Leaving is the most dangerous time. Don’t go out with anyone else until you break things off. You know that will incite violence. Do you have a safe place to go?

  2. I’m really worried about other people here who don’t know what to do when it’s right in front of them.. you should definitely leave him since he’s done so much shit to you and that’s not what you deserve.

  3. If you want to go out with a new person you can, you do need to get away from the violent guy
