Curious to know. Is it a social skill? What prevents people from being spatially aware? Is it a part of neurodiversity? I don’t mean socially aware, I mean spatially, like people who stop right in front of you, walk straight into you, will park right next to you in an empty car park, walk straight into where people are riding bikes with no awareness that they need to move etc

  1. It is very much a part of the autism spectrum, as is poor balance or a lack of awareness of much control. However it is not a social issue. Different cultures and even individuals have different expectations of personal space.
