I’m in my second year of college now and I only regularly talk to one friend outside of work. I’ve been (probably) friends with them since high school but even though we were from the same school we haven’t actually met in person. All of my other friends I don’t talk to regularly/at all. The friend who I talk to the second most I only really talk with them twice a year online when their college has a break. I always see people going out with friends or talking to them a lot but I don’t know how to do that. I would feel weird about asking one of my coworkers to be my friend because we just work with each other, and at college nobody really talks to each other. I’m also scared to text one of my older friends who I haven’t talked to in a while because that might be weird. So I’m often stuck at home talking with my one friend because I don’t have in person friends to go out with. I don’t even know if this friend enjoys my company or just wants someone to talk to when they’re bored. Are there any places where I could get friends?
