Just turned 34 and I’ve been trying to get back into the game of dating. I don’t meet many people IRL and I’ve tried a couple apps (mainly POF) but they seem to be flooded with bots, ads and people trying to build their influencer following. I don’t go the bars much as I’m more of a 420 guy. I just feel lost and that my online dating attempts have been in vain. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Are you able to respond to eye contact? eg. A girl across the room gives you ‘the eye’ (holds your gaze longer than normal, not just once but two or more times).
Can you go up to her if she’s attractive to you, and introduce yourself? Perhaps engage her in conversation leading to an offer of a date (by you), or, exchange of texting numbers (with the objective of ultimately offering to date her via text).
