Went out dancing with friends last night. One of my friends ran into a coworker who was out with friends and we joined groups. Ended up dancing and chatting with a girl for almost an hour and exchanged numbers.
What is the etiquette for reaching out? I was thinking of waiting a few days but my sister said to message right away to let her know I’m interested but feel that I should give it somw breathing room.

Firstly….you dont do what your sister said, she doesnt date women, she’s equating the female dating experience with the male experience.
Next, messaging is for logistics in this phase of the process. So do reach out soonish, make small talk but set up a date ASAP. Then give breathing room until the actual date.
NO DOT overtext during the wait period, its akin to constantly opening an oven to check on your cake. Leave it alone to bake.
