My husband (30M) and I (27F) are currently going through a rough patch, both financially and in between us as well. This is going to be our first Valentine’s since being married and I want to do something special.

Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.

  1. Could you write him a love letter or a list of all the things you appreciate about him/your life with him?

  2. Blanket fort and binge a show

If you have any art supplies a bob Ross painting night could be very fun. Even if you’re not artists its a fun time.

Just get drunk and try some new things in bed, for this you can try a new cocktail together.

Eat some edibles (or acid if you’re into that) and watch cartoons and talk about metaphysical shit

Play out some fantasies you haven’t before/some sex acts you haven’t done before

Do appetizers/sides, entree and dessert from 3 different food trucks or fast food places around town.

Pick out outfits for each other at the thrift shop and then go to a cheap dinner in them(or dinner at home with candles and such)

Do a puzzle together? Or some other 2 player board game. [This game](https://a.co/d/c4JNi6D) kept me and my husband entertained for HOURS, even bought it for my brother for Christmas lol I’ve seen [this one](https://a.co/d/5V06C5O) on tik tok and it looks really fun for two people

  3. Bowling using empty bottles and a small ball. Truth or Dare adult version make your own cards. Battle ship but instead play battle strip. Cook together naked.

  4. Celebrate late. Find an affordable BYOB restaurant and go out the next weekend. Buy Chocolate on February 15th.

  5. Homemade card and be the gift!!!! Too many people put too much emphasis on the what’s expected on a Hallmark holiday, at the end of the day spending time with your significant other is worth more than any gift and for the financial part, a homemade card show that you’re doing your part to save and should give it more sentimental value.
