This is my(22f) first relationship where i also lost my virginty so i dont know anything else outside of that.

Ive had reoccuring UTIs throughout the relationship(~1y)/when i went to a gync recently, they told me that my vagina is inflammed and its only harmless bacteria. they gave me antibiotics and also pills to insert vaginally but i still have symptoms (weird, painful feeling while and for ~15 min after peeing, smtms it feels like there smth stuck at the v tip of my urethra). another thing is that sometimes during sex, theres a slight burning sensation. that is also combined with swollen lymph nodes after sex that usually are gone after a couple hours if not one hour; i only started noticing this ever since i started also cleaning my vagina with warm water after sex to prevent utis but i think i remember noticing that more even before i did that.

i am also now having slightly swollen lymph nodes in the groin for over 1 week, peeing is like 50:50 chance of being uncomfortable, especially if drink a lot of water and the stream is strong enough, its doesnt feel uncomfortable at all. we havent had sex since bc my vulva just feels unwell in general and has been v sensitive to the touch.

one theory that i have is, that my UTIs might have also been combined with general inflammation of my vulva (when i had symptoms, i always went to my general doctor and they only checked my urine) and bc my bf and i didnt stop having sex, maybe my vagina just rlly didnt like that? i rlly dont know.

tl;dr what could it mean to have swollen lymph nodes after sex with a partner?

  1. My ex had a similar problem. It’s probably nothing serious I would go to the doctor and get that checked out

  2. I’m no doctor, so if yours didn’t help you, you might want to try another one.

I’m gonna point right at it :
👉 When you drink a lot of water, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all 👈

Drink “a lot” of water then. What feels like a lot, is most probably the right amount of water you should drink. The pee should be more transparent, than yellow.

Also, the food you eat may be a factor.
