How do you deal with people that scoff or hiss at you after you say something that throws them off? Sometimes, I say something they disagree with and think that what I said was stupid, or sometimes I feel awkward and that comes out in my tone of voice. This happens to me enough where it really bothers me and makes me not want to open up to people.

It’s hard to believe people would commonly scoff if you say something ordinary.
