The zoo
The Zoo, a naval base, biotechnology companies, Mexican food.
It’s all covered in [this documentary](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8AIwaSD9Sco).

Mild weather year-round. Even in the winter, the average daytime temperature is in the mid 60s. In the summer, the average daytime temperature is in the mid to upper 70s. Even accounting for heat waves and cold snaps, the temperature usually never goes above 90 or below 40 in any given year. Keep in mind though, what I just said only applies to areas that are right next to the coastline. Due to microclimates, the weather can change drastically over short distances. The further you go inland, the more extreme the temperatures get. Go 15 miles inland and the average daytime temperature in the summer will be in the upper 80s.
Military town, food, nice weather
The zoo, the navy and being next to tijuana
Being a Whale’s Vagina.
Navy base and perfect weather
It’s where I learned that tacos are not normally filled with ground beef and cheddar cheese
Zoo, Sea World, Naval Base, Mexico border, expensive everything, nice warm weather, people with boats.
That time a genetically engineered T-rex was on the loose
You don’t bring people halfway across the world to visit a zoo! You bring the zoo to them!
People already associate San Diego with animal attractions. The San Diego Zoo, Sea World. The San Diego Chargers.
Mr. Hammond knew this. Before he even dreamt of an island, he began construction of an amphitheater, very near to where you are sitting now, at the inGen Waterfront Complex… but he abandoned it – in favor of something far grander and ultimately impossible.
And so, the facility sits unused – unfinished – when it could be completed and ready to receive visitors in less than a month.
Very first YouTube video
Jackin’ it in San Diego (South Park)
Comic Con
The Zoo!
In addition to all the other things mentioned here, I’d throw in IPAs.
Seals and sea lions (seals not meaning the animal)
Jerkin it
rich people, the water
The city that people on this sub tell foreigners to visit instead of LA
Comic Con?
Beaches and lots of cocaine
Burritos, beaches, and being so pleasant weather wise that people go there and never come back. And shitty sports teams.
Zoo. That’s it from me
Nuclear wessels!
A whales vagina
I know the Zoo and Comicon. That is about it.
Sea lions, obviously.
Beaches, near-perfect weather, the zoo, Mexican food, beer, the Navy, and bordering Mexico.
Weather and beaches
It is known as “America’s Finest City”as the weather is probably the best in the whole country. Beautiful beaches (the water is far warmer there than 100 miles up in Los Angeles).
Fish tacos of course are famously associated with San Diego. The town and county as a whole are known for having a very large military population and multiple bases, specifically Navy/Marines and Coast Guard. The border of course is just a trolly ride away.
The Zoo most of all.
It’s Arizona’s other ocean beach.
MCRDSD.
If you know, you know.
No one’s gonna mention SeaWorld or the Chargers?
