My close friend (33F) is moving out of the country for work related reasons in a couple of days. She should be staying there for a couple of months but maybe up to a year.

While I’m incredibly sad about it, I feel like I should plan something special for her, maybe a night out, a small gift or even a letter? She is incredibly busy right now with planning the trip and packing and I don’t want to be annoying, obviously. But I feel like I ‘owe’ it to her and of course, I want to hang out with her now and spend as much time with her as possible while she is still here.

What would be the most appropriate thing to do? A special day/night out? A gift/a letter? Or both?

TL;DR! A close friend of mine (33F) is moving out of the country for a long time. I (27F)want to plan something special. What should I do?

  1. If you give her a few days notice she should be able to plan around it. But maybe take her to her favorite restaurant? That or offer to grab take out and go hang out with her for a few hours. I know you want to spend as much time as possible, but this should be more about quality and quantity. Don’t want to over stress her
