Boyfriend (26M) and women (30F)?

My fwb liked this girl and wanted to have a sexual, casual relationship with her. But she didn’t put out and while initially he was pissed, her aloofness and not chasing after him made him get attached to her.
He understood that she wasn’t the hook up type but more of a relationship one and so he would keep distance from her but wanted to talk and be in touch with her always.

However, he acted badly with her and she got really upset and called him out for his behaviour. Eventually she told him she doesnt want to keep any contact with him after what he did.

My fwb broke apart, could finish his uni work by the deadline and had to extend the date by a few more days. He wouldn’t sit still and was very upset. However, even though she told him not to talk to her (which he agreed to), he kept saying hello to her and sometimes smiling at her too.

He wouldn’t stop saying hello even though she was cold to him. Finally she decided to talk it out with him and she patched up with him. Surpringly, he agreed and they talk to each other like before.

I dont get him. He wouldn’t budge when she asked him to go away and not speak to her but when she patched up with him, he agreed?
He has no personality? She asked him to follow her and he did.

He doesnt even like her and continues to hook up. He doesn’t like her right?
