I started my period the other day (first day is very light – spotting, nothing heavy). I was super horny and wanted to have sex with my partner. This isn’t the first time we’ve had sex on my period & it was barely existent. He told me it burns when we have sex on my period. Guys – is this a real thing or was he just not down?

  1. I don’t think this is a fair question to ask everyone as a whole.

If a woman posted on here and said that she felt burning when she had period sex….. would it really matter if anyone else experienced it?

Your boyfriend expressed an unpleasant sensation from the period sex. It’s a little off-putting that you feel the need to ask strangers their opinion on what your boyfriend reports that he is feeling.

  2. It don’t burn lol. Unless your blood is boiling. Actually now that I think about it my husband said it make it feel dry and rub funky. So use lots of lube maybe.

  3. Ask him. It tends to be dry and a funky pH, “burning” is a bit vague and maybe it did for him. I don’t think it’s impossible. Did he seem annoyed and distant? Was he still happy to have sex without piv?

  4. Maybe he had a burn that time but no idea why if it did. My wife is in menopause now, so zero periods in play anymore– haha– but when we’d do it on her period it was fabulous as always. Nothing different on my end. Just blood on my penis when we were done. Speaking of menopause, I’ve gotten burn on my penis sometimes after climax but I think that’s from vaginal dryness that can come with menopause. But that’s rare. usually plenty Wet!! I think if a lady is dry at all, sometimes it can pinch a guy’s penis a bit when he pulls out but I’m not 100% sure what causes it, but I have had a burn on my penis a few times before
