Make up a lie just to set up a meeting?

Hello everybody! Little question, straight forward: I met this guy a few weeks ago, we had a first date and we both agreed to meet up again. We live a bit far away, so it’s not super easy to arrange a second meeting but we both made sure to tell each other we’re down for that.
As I feel that he might take advantage of the fact that I will for sure agree to meet him whenever he will come here, so he’s maybe taking it quite easy, would you make up a little lie just to push this date and have a definitive answer about his intentions?
Since I am a foreigner in this city, I was thinking about telling him that I am leaving the city soon, so it’s “now or never”.
I feel like it might help but, at the same time, how would I deal with it later.. any help will be appreciated 🙂 🙂 thank you!
