Hey folks. I’m trying to get some ideas on what to do on my bachelor trip. I’m not really the partying type and it seems like most websites try to play up the nightlife aspect when it comes to popular destinations. I really just want to find a cool city or location and explore it (on foot preferably).

So where did yall go? What was your bachlor trip like? Anything you regret doing (or not doing)?

  1. I went out to a buddy’s property in the middle of nowhere and we camped, shot guns, rode dirt bikes and four wheelers, and drank all weekend.

Personally I had more fun than any of the “destination” bachelor’s parties I’ve been on.

  2. My word of advice: try to keep it within driving distances. Airfare can add a lot of time and costs to the trip so be cognizant of how many PTO days your boys have to take and how much money you are asking of them. We were able to do an amazing one for me and another for my brother a few hr drive away and <$500ea. Flying trips I’ve easily spent >$1000 and had to use extra vacation days just to travel

  3. We didn’t really do a trip. Most of my groomsmen and a couple old friends planned it all out. We left early in the morning to go to a distillery for a tour and tasting before going next door to a brewery for beers and lunch. We cabbed to another place that had a massive outdoor bar, bowling alley, and arcade where we hung out and played a bunch of games before bowling and drinking outside. Dinner was at a taco shop before we went to an Irish pub for drinks and darts before crashing in our hotel rooms. Next morning was breakfast at a popular brunch spot and then we drove 2+ hours home.

It was fun getting together with the guys that I rarely get to see all at once. We got to bar hop a bit and just have fun.
