My sister and I have fought like cat and dog pretty much from the get go. We can’t be in the same room for an hour without arguing and disagreeing. But when one of us needs help, the other is always there.
A few years ago I was kicked out of the apartment I shared with a witch of a roommate, and needed help to get my own place. I couldn’t lease an apartment on my own (couldnt provide all the necessary paperwork), so my sister took a shift off work to sort out all the bureaucratic shit as if she was the one renting. Months later she went through a nasty divorce and I was there for her, even broke the news to our family by her request because she didn’t have the guts to tell them.
