I’m wondering if anyone has been experiencing the same as me. I’ve been on dating apps consistently for about two months now. I have given my number out about 4-5 guys that I was interested in meeting. I only met one, and it didn’t go well at all. One was clearly looking for a hookup, even though he didn’t say that. And the others seemed a bit scammy after I gave them my number.
Well, the last week has been extremely strange since I have been receiving random calls and text messages from randoms through WhatsApp. One being a FaceTime call where a guy was literally jacking off. I was kinda drunk, nah I was shit faced, when I answered and showed all my friends at the bar what this weirdo was doing. We had a great laugh and I block them. I’ve blocked all of them actually.
I am no longer giving out my number, but I am wondering, has anyone been experiencing this? I haven’t given my number out to anyone other then the guys from tinder.

Someone might’ve been bitter about how a date went and posted your phone number publicly to try to upset you. It’ll likely stop after a while. I recommend chatting through something that doesn’t require you to give out your phone number, like instagram DMs. Men can complain as much as they want that insta is for girls trying to get picture likes but in reality it’s the safest way to chat until you are comfortable giving out your number.
