Shoulder width is relative to your physique. Obese individuals have wider shoulders that thinner individuals. Similarly fit individuals have wider shoulder to hip ratio than non fit individuals.
Everyone is different. My dad grew six inches in one year in HS. Some guys will hit college and still have inches to grow. But consider yourself done somewhere between 16-25. I know that’s a wide window. Also, do a lot of overhead press and face pulls, lateral raises.
Thereโs a way to do it naturally, not just working on delts. I did it after 21 and broadened several inches. Surprised you donโt know tbh, no one talks about it.
>When does shoulders stop broadening? or how can i grow them
Pushups (shoulder exercises) or swimming
You can always broaden your shoulders until old age with physical training.
Body ratios are huge for how big your shoulders look, if you have a small waist (by losing body fat) your shoulders will look 10x bigger
35.
Start lifting weights with the football team. Even if you don’t play football, nobody cares. If you just show up and work hard, they don’t care how strong you are either.
You are very young still, give it some time. Once you get a little older, you should hit the gym hard to fill out your shoulders. Like I said though, you should give it some time, as your frame is still growing. I didn’t flesh out fully until I was around 25, if you start working out consistently around 17-18 yo and onward you’ll likely see your shoulders get noticeably wider.
Your skeleton will be fully grown by 25 at the latest.
You can try to broaden them by building muscle, but there’s a limit to what can be achieved that way if your bone structure is slight.
I mean in theory it’s not exactly about age, just ๐ have ๐ a ๐ healthy ๐ diet ๐ and work out. The nutrients absorbed by your body have to go somewhere so they’re absorbed and your cell number increases, keep doing it and keep working out so that you body gets into proper shape.
I’m in my 20s. i workout and eat a bunch and my shoulders are broader than ever
Bone broadening will stop at age 18, but in terms of muscle I’d say you have until about age 35 or so to take advantage of the gym.
Start now and don’t waste any time. Do basic full body bodybuilding routines.
