Good: you get equal amounts of all four seasons, those seasons are gorgeous, and relatively mild compared to other parts of the country, which means they are generally enjoyable experiences (unless it’s winter and you live in the northern parts of the state where there is more elevation).
Bad: politically, the state is a deep shade of purple, which means we get endless political ads. These ads are *meant* to enrage the viewer, and that impacts residents’ mental health after weeks of exposure. During voting season, people are not the best version of themselves, even to their friends and neighbors. I fucking hate this about living here.
