I put up a note on instagram asking for help for something and this one senior from my college who I don’t think I have ever talked to replied to it but then after 5 min she unsent it. I already checked the text throught notifications though… should I text her back saying something like “hey, I read your text and…”

No, they unsent it for a reason.
Are you sure “vanish mode” isn’t activated? I think it is so weird when people have it on.
