This wasn’t me specifically, but is legend in my family. When my dad was younger (20s) he was in a horrible car accident. Slipped on icy roads and the crash knocked him out. The firefighters had to use the jaws of life on the vehicle to get him out because the doors were all caved in. When they rescued him, he was (in the car) draped in a blanket. When my dad was able to leave the hospital the blanket was included in his belongings and he was super confused. He talked to the firefighters who got him out and they confirmed that the blanket was draped around him when they got him out. No one knows who put the blanket on him or who. The blanket was marked with initials and the local convent’s marking. My dad tracked down the nun it belonged to, but she was in a wheelchair and wouldn’t have been able to get to him. Still a mystery, but my family is convinced that my dad had a guardian angel that day.
