Bit of backstory. A few months ago one of my mates introduced me to some of his collage friends on a night out one night. Ever since a few of them have made their way into our friend group. One of them let’s call her Amy I do find her pretty nice and a down to earth person though personality wise the complete opposite (She’s very extroverted party girl where as I’m like the definition of introverted nerd) we’ve talked in person a good bit, not really texted. Mostly just if we’re both out at the same time in our group we’ll talk quite a bit.
well on a get together there last week we were out at the arcade and we were talking a little just about random shit when all of a sudden she asked me if I was in any relationships or interested in anyone recently. I told her no I’m not and kinda shrugged it off asked her the same and said she wasn’t. but when I got home idk I guess my brain had like 300 ping for a bit but it finally clicked with me the question she asked And kinda threw me for a loop. I do enjoy talking to her and she is a very nice girl but idk if I should pursue In case it makes things awkward in our group if she says no. Another thing that is making me re consider is that she mentioned she applied to work in the same department store I do For the summer as a makeup artist. so if she does get the job idk if It be a good thing to be dating a coworker even if she’d be in a complete different section to where I’d be.
TLDR I’m just really confused and nervous as to how to manage this. ngl never been in like a proper relationship before so kinda new territory. we are going to me at a bar at the weekend for drinks with everyone else Just idk what to do So any help Reddit.
