i (22f) went to get tested and now i’m scared

i’ve been having thrush like symptoms for over a month now that hasn’t gone away, but the thing is i’m not sure if it’s thrush or bv cause it looks like both combined? i went to the clinic today and the nurse said it looks like bv because of the discharge but she’s going to test me for trichomoniasis as well because that could be likely, the thing is i’ve been having sex with my boyfriend(24m) who is now my ex, we became exes last year (we only have sex with each other btw) and if it comes back as a positive for trichomoniasis it must be from him because i’ve not had sex with anyone else since him, my last sexual partner was just over 4 years ago. I asked the nurse if its possible it could lay dormant in my body for over 4 years and she said no because i’ve experienced symptoms like this recently. I’m scared and hoping it’s just bv, if it comes back positive for trichomoniasis does that mean he’s been cheating through our relationship? or could he have had sex with someone else while we’re not together right now? my anxiety is through the roof because I told him how much i’m against fucking other people while having sex with me because i care about my health, and he’s told me he’s never had sex with anyone else except me since the start of our relationship.
