What are the top things that you should have a grip on before getting into a relationship?

1. Yourself. Don’t try to fill a hole in yourself with someone else.

2. House, financial stability and empathy..
   Knowing to cook is bonus

3. I want to have my pottery situation locked down and I still need more therapy and I need to get to a healthier place physically

4. Who you are, what you want and what you require in a partner

5. Know who you are and what you want in a relationship and in life. You should be the best version of you before getting into a serious relationship. It’s not fair to the other person if they are bringing in their best and still has to work on you. Unless that’s been communicated between the two of you and mutually agreed upon.

   Even still I think it’s best to be at a high point and grow upward with your partner.

6. Have your financial house in order. Have a career, savings for retirement and own a home or have a plan to own a home.

7. You should know the sort of qualities you want and don’t want in the person you are looking for. And be selective wrt to those. Just picking the first person who is interested is a sign of desperation. Which leads to making bad choices.

8. self love first. nothing no ome says shoukd ever get to you. and you cant control everything

9. You need to be happy with yourself and where you are in life.

   Most of that is actually a matter of perspective than quantifiable “success” but once you got your mind right you’ll be in a more favorable position.

10. Finances. A steady job. Your own place. Your own wheels.

11. Your job. Which is finances. Then who you are don’t expect her to make you something else. Be a complete package someone she might want. Not something she needs to complete.
