That’s a pretty specialised percussion instrument. You might be better asking this on a drum or percussion subreddit. It’s kind of similar to a djembe, which is more West African, whereas a darbuka is more East African. I found a local djembe teacher by word of mouth a few years ago but suitable teachers are not easy to find in UK! You could ask in local music shops or percussion based Facebook groups.
Funnily enough I’ve been using a darbuka sound on a show I’m preparing for at the moment – but it’s just a sampled sound within a Roland SPD-SX (I’m an edrummer) – it’s a lot easier than a real darbuka!! Good luck!
