Same it’s so awkward. But if I have a conversation with them I try to remember their eye colour. I end up forgetting so I make eye contact often.
>I have a gym crush I definitely can’t make contact with. How can I work up to it?
I recommend against this. But idk maybe smile and say “hi, are you alright?” in passing
It’s hard sometimes yes, but as you already got a connection it wouldn’t be weird if you look in his direction, just remember that.
So just take it slow and look over there and smile. If you got the courage or there’s a moment where the two of you meet you could always ask how he’s doing.
You don’t have to ask him out or something immediately, but just letting know you’re noticing him could definitely help you out to pursue that maybe. Good luck 😉
Don’t look at them in the eye. Look in between their eyes- they think you’re giving them eye contact and you don’t feel the pressure.
I sometimes look at their left eye when I try to assert dominance (LOL). But you should probably look at the tip of the nose, there was something called a triangle where you should focus your eyes on but forgot about it.
Show confidence. You must prove that you like the person you are looking at.
If you wear glasses, take off your glasses. Idk why but when I take off my glasses, I feel like I can do anything and all of my anxiety is GONE. If you have perfect eyes (first of all, fuck you) then maybe try to buy some reading glasses that make your vision a little bit blurry. I mean, this is a step, honestly, in training yourself to look at people.
Lmaooo I do wear glasses
