I would assume, given it is a public interest story due to his notoriety, the media will release the information as soon as it is made available from the prison service.
I have no idea if the parole decision timetables are fixed, though. It might be that if a case is complex they take extra days/weeks to consult with other experts. I would wager that they view getting the right decision more important than meeting a deadline.
