1. If your second question is “Is protection that important?” You shouldn’t be having sex.

2. Relax. Your first time won’t be great. If your partner is experienced, let them take the lead. Go slow.

   And yes … unless you want to potentially end up with a kid in 9 months or an STD sooner than that, protection is vitally important.
