I’m currently in my final semester of college and since my class is all girls and one guy I’ve made friends with 2 girls who are also my lab partners.. I’m getting all the signs we are friends but I still feel we are not true friends or they are just being nice to me.. the signs I’m getting is they include me in their convos, lightly touch me and ask me questions about my life and stuff.. we don’t talk much outside of classes though, and even if we do it’s school related stuff.. I just wish they would make it more clear that they are true friends

Define what you mean by true friends
I feel I don’t always get the signs they are my friends such as not asking me how I’m doing or complimenting me on something.. I feel those things are more common with my friends outside of college.. also they don’t always answer my questions properly, I’ll get a vague answer or something along that line
The best way to know if someone likes you and thinks of you as a friend is if they go out of their way to include you, talk to you outside of classes and in their free time as well as go places with you or hit you up to. If anyone you know does very few or none of these things they may not think of you as a friend. Its okay to feel this way though I didn’t know how someone was considered a friend until my mid 20s.
