So I[30m] am recently single and my straight boy brain was always a little anal curious, so I went and bought a butt plug and some anal lube yesterday.
Long story short, it felt amazing! But I found it hard to relax cos I was afraid my ass would like pull the plug in past the flared base, and the whole thing would end up inside me.
Is this something I should be concerned about? I’d rather it didn’t get stuck lol

Depends on the size of the base. If its a small flare then yeah possible, but also unlikely depending on what youre doing besides having something in your butt.
But as stressful as it can be, it won’t get stuck inside. You can easily get it out. And if you’re that paranoid you can get one with either a very large base, a wider base, one with a ring on it (easier to grab if it goes up), or even a chain.
You’re very probably fine. The difference between the diameter of the plug at its widest, and the width of the base, is enough that you’d really struggle to get past the base. A cm is a huge difference in diameter to your butthole. If you want to really reassure yourself, get a dildo as big as the base of your butt plug and try to get it in. I bet you can’t. Then you can relax knowing that there’s no way that base is just gonna slip in.
It definitely can. Friend of mine once had that happen to her and when it happened she immediately texted me as she couldn’t get it out. She didnt push it in by herself though and it was a very small one so the base was also small-ish. The one she was using was also very flexible, even in larger sizes.
