I’m sure this is not the most common issue ever but here goes

I had a surgery on my penis two months ago for medical reasons and was allowed to go back to having sex a month ago ish.

Before the procedure I had a lot of trouble reaching a climax during sex to the point where almost all of the time I’d have sex with a partner I wouldn’t finish. I assume this was mostly due to the fact that I felt very little sensation during sex.

Now, I’m more or less experiencing the same issue. I assume this will partially get better over time since after the procedure I definitely feel more sensations but I’m still not anywhere close I feel like.

I don’t think I watch too much porn/jerk off too much either, but I could be wrong. I probably jerk off like 4 ish times a week?

  1. You need to discuss this with your urologist. You’re asking specific prognosis information that only your doctor can help you with.

  2. Jerking off 4 – 5 times a week is normal and being able to climax from PIV on top of this is also normal.

Two angles to explore from my POV:

    1) medical, speak with your urologist as suggested by someone else.

    2) psychological, you might be putting too much pressure on yourself due to your history. Hard to overcome without help.

  3. This is called delayed ejaculation, and a urologist is well-equipped to help you out. Schedule an appointment.
