Yes, it used to visit schools around here, including the one my wife works at. A friend of ours used to tow the trailer from school to school.
It’s still going in various places, if you Google it there’s a few around. I think funding and volunteers are the issue.

Er… no.
We had a chip van though; just like an ice-cream van but it did chips for places with no local chippy. Different place each night.
That was an education; or more a revelation. Not sure why there aren’t more chip vans about.
