Men of Reddit, have you ever dated a bartender, bottle service girl, dancer, etc? How did it go?

  1. No, and never will. I have met more than my share over the years and besides an extremely low percentage of exceptions, relationships with them end in disasters. Why?

Because in the large majority of cases, all it takes is a high roller with a sizeable wallet to make them go from committed girlfriend to yesterday’s blue plate special that the town passed around.

  2. It was tough. I had a more typical work schedule so I had to be up early and was off weekends. She worked late and every Fri, Sat and Sun with days off during the week. It was hard to find time for each other but we didn’t have issues with jealousy or things of that nature.

  3. Yes. I dated a cocktail waitress. She got a lot of attention and liked it. Eventually became a beer poster girl, started doing shows, etc. I didn’t like being put in that situation constantly and so I moved on.

  4. Bartender. She was friendly with everyone but not flirty. Most men don’t like hitting on a 6’5 woman even if they have massive assets.

Felt odd being the short one for once at first.

Honestly healthiest relationship I’ve ever had. Ended up splitting on good terms since she took a job in Germany.

  5. yeah i worked a few years in the bar/restaurant industry. everyone was fucking everyone. it’s soul sucking work but i highly recommend a stint for anyone who struggles to meet people.

  6. Dated a stripper years ago and I’m pretty sure my ex-ex was an escort, though I don’t have proof yet.

But I’d say in general, and from my friends experiences too, dating any kind of girl like that is going to be a wild rollercoaster ride.

I’d advise most guys to try it, if they get the chance, but don’t let your heart get involved. These types of girls are paid based on how well they manipulate men. Doesn’t matter if it’s a sexy bartender or a stripper, they’re all practicing the same kind of flirting and seduction to get what they want, day in & day out.

I’m not saying it’s always malicious, but they don’t leave those manipulation skills at work, so you’ve gotta be real careful, or you’ll get got.

  7. I used to be a bartender and bouncer and dated waitresses, female bartenders and a dancer /stripper

No difference in dating girls with those jobs than any other
