(Male), received oral sex only from a female last week. I just tested positive for chlamydia. If it came from me, what are the odds I gave it to her in her throat? High? Low?

1. Screw the odds. She needs to get tested. The risk, no matter how low, means that she deserves to know.

   Eh, aren’t you legally obligated to name her as a sexual connection?

2. You need to tell her to get tested. There is no alternative. They could both be infected.

3. Chlamydia is easily passed either by oral or vaginal sex. Either of you could have had it from another person before. Unless you get tested after every new connection you’ll never know.
