I’ve [M30] been talking to / dating this woman [F28] for two months. We’ve never had the exclusivity talk, but I chose to not date anyone else and I assumed that she wasn’t either just based on a few comments she made (bad assumption on my part). I asked her to be my girlfriend and she hesitated for a bit then said yes. She then revealed to me that she’s been seeing another guy apparently and that she’s going to cut things off with him. The next day she starts asking me questions saying she’s trying to make sure she made the right decision. At this point I asked her point blank if she cut it off with the other guy, and she said she called him to cut it off but he planted seeds of doubt in her head and now she’s trying to assess her decision and come up with reasons to tell him why I’m the better choice. I’m pretty pissed about the situation and part of me thinks I should call it off myself. I think she will probably choose me at the end of the day, but the fact that she’s even being wishy washy about it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Am I over reacting? Should I wait things out for a day?

  1. Why does she need to convince the other that guy that you’re a good choice? Why she even having that discussion with him? Obviously he’s gonna try to convince her to pick him.
This is ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and remove yourself from this triangle. If she comes back you can see what you want to do, but don’t wait on her.

  2. I understand there’s always competition out there but if she’s leading both of you on and can’t decide, just move along.

Just make the choice for her and remove yourself.

  4. If she is having second thought then drop it and her and move on.

She is there in your face putting u and the other guy in the scale to see who is better. That should be done in private and before she says yes to being your gf or not.
